Baseball legend, Joseph Jefferson “Shoeless Joe” Jackson, at bat. He played flawlessly in the 1919 World Series, and scored the series’ only home run. However, he was tried with seven other members of the Chicago White Sox for accepting bribes to throw the series, and was banned from baseball for life.
